WiSA welcomes three new members to the Advisory Group

We are delighted to welcome Jeni Adamson, Joel Ellis and Dr Puja Kumari as new members of its Advisory Group.


Jeni Adamson, Industry Engagement Manager at Seafood Scotland, brings extensive experience in skills development, careers awareness and workforce growth across seafood and aquaculture.

Jeni said:

“I’m really pleased to be joining the WiSA Advisory Group and supporting its work to strengthen visibility, networks and inclusive pathways for women across the sector.”



Joel Ellis, Senior Aquaculture Specialist at MSD Animal Health, supports fish health and welfare across the UK and Ireland salmon sector and is a committed advocate for inclusion.

Joel said:

“Being part of WiSA is an opportunity to listen, support and help create more inclusive spaces across aquaculture.”


Dr Puja Kumari, phycologist and lecturer at SAMS, brings international research expertise in seaweed biology, climate change adaptation and sustainable cultivation.

Puja said:

“I’m excited to contribute to WiSA’s work and to encourage more women to pursue leadership roles across aquaculture.”



WiSA looks forward to working with Jeni, Joel and Puja as it continues to champion inclusion, opportunity and leadership across Scottish aquaculture.
